Product reviews can vary. We all have our own views on appliances, especially software and electronics, depending upon whether we feel we have experienced value for money and fit for purpose. These of course tend to go hand in hand as if we do not choose the best computers, printer or computer storage for our business or home we do not feel we are getting value for money.

Read through the product information, look for any relevant FAQs you find while doing your research, download read and reread information in reports.

Manufacturers such as Dell and Canon provide plenty of technical information and the important thing is to make sure that the product at least satisfies your immediate requirement. The difficulty is then making sure you are not buying a product that is “a sledge hammer to crack a nut”. We all do it. The sales bumph tells us about all the powerful features and all the wonderful things we can achieve by using them. Those features come at a price and you may never use them!
